Privacy & Data Protection Policy

This policy explains how China Care Life handles the personal and health information you provide when using our services. The Chinese version is the authoritative text; other language versions are reference translations.

Effective: 2026-08-23 | Last updated: 2026-08-23

1. Data controller

The personal-information controller for the services described in this policy is [Legal entity name — to be confirmed by legal]. Contact: care@chinacarelife.com. Data Protection Officer (DPO) contact: [To be confirmed by legal]. (Note: these are placeholders to be completed by legal/compliance before launch.)

2. What we collect

(1) Contact details you provide: name, email, country/region, inquiry. (2) Service information: the service type and itinerary preferences you choose. (3) Health-related information: your described condition, history and medication in the needs field — this is sensitive personal information under the PIPL.

3. How we use it

Only to: respond to your inquiry; match licensed partner medical institutions; arrange itinerary, accompaniment and language support; provide post-treatment follow-up. We do not use health information for purposes unrelated to the agreed services.

4. Separate handling of sensitive (health) information

Health information is sensitive personal information. We do not process it unless you explicitly and separately tick the consent box on the booking form. Health information is stored and accessed separately from general contact data, both technically and administratively.

5. Sharing & cross-border transfer

We share information only as necessary to deliver the agreed services, with licensed partner hospitals, hotels, translation and local-service providers, under confidentiality obligations. Where personal information is provided to overseas recipients, we comply with the PIPL by informing you, obtaining separate consent, and (where applicable) conducting a security assessment and filing a standard contract; the specific cross-border mechanism follows the then-current compliant arrangement.

6. Retention period

We keep your information only for the minimum period necessary to fulfil the purposes described. After services conclude, general contact data is retained for [to be confirmed by legal] years; health information is deleted or de-identified as soon as practicable unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, copy, correct, supplement and delete your personal information, withdraw consent, and request an explanation of processing rules. To exercise these rights, email care@chinacarelife.com; we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

8. Minors

This service is for adults. Where a minor's health information is involved, it is processed only with the minor's guardian's consent and participation.

9. Complaints

If you believe our processing violates laws or regulations, you may complain to us (care@chinacarelife.com) or file a complaint with the competent personal-information protection authority (e.g., the national cyberspace authority).

10. Policy updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified via website notice or email; the updated version takes effect from the date of publication.

The Chinese version is the authoritative text; other language versions are for reference. As compliance wording is subject to final legal review, certain controller details, retention periods and cross-border mechanisms will be updated by legal/compliance before launch.
